Becca Freeland, Immediate Past President

Becca is mother to Emma (Davis alum) and Graham (6th grade) and her favorite Davis community event is the Gala, but is going to miss her kids’ favorite activity, Trunk or Treat, when Graham graduates. Becca loves the community her family has created over the years, noting, “Because we are a ‘commuter’ school, Davis has made intentional efforts to build a special culture and community amongst its students, faculty, and families that is very apparent."

Carey Delzer, President

Carey is mom to Tommy (3rd grade) and Grant (Kindergarten) and her favorite Davis community activity is the Talent Show, although the Gala comes in a close second. A CMHS teacher who sees many Davis graduates in her classroom, Carey loves Davis because of the amazing families and staff that build this tight knit community and the awesome opportunities our kids are offered each year. In Carey’s words, “I’m proud to be a Davis Duck!”

Maria Stout, Vice President

Mom to Hayden (6th grade) and Luca (1st grade), Maria struggles to pick her favorite Davis community activity, but looks forward to Movie Nights and Skate Nights, and the Gala, of course! Says Maria, “Davis is exceptional for many reasons but my favorite thing is all the fantastic opportunities our kids have both academically and socially, thanks to the exceptional teachers, staff, and parent community.”

Bryan Chin, Treasurer

Bryan’s daughter Penny is a Davis alum and Daphne is in 4th grade, and his favorite Davis community activity of all time was the haunted house that used to occur with Trunk or Treat, although he also enjoys the annual musical. When he’s not refereeing youth soccer, Bryan oversees the finances for the Davis Foundation, including behind the scenes of BBFD and the Gala. Says Bryan of Davis, “The teachers, staff, and parents make this a nurturing, happy place for the students - this is a school community that cares.”

Christine Reynolds, Secretary

Mom to Edison (4th grade) and Magnus (3 years old), Christine enjoys seeing the school community come together to raise funds and have a good time at the Davis Gala every spring. She appreciates that the funds are transparently put to use to support a well-rounded education at Davis which involves robust programs geared toward music, robotics, arts, the outdoors, and classic academic subjects.

Kelli Jack, Member

Kelli is mom to Tristan (5th grade) and Scarlet (3rd grade) and her favorite Davis community event is Trunk or Treat. Kelli loves Davis because of the immense sense of community and the teachers, staff, and families who go above and beyond to make the school a fun, safe, and great place to learn.

Sara Bartel, Member

Sara is mom to Ainsley (1st grade) and Quinn (Kindergarten), and excited to have both girls participate in the uplifting and engaging Davis community events this year! Sara enjoyed the Gala this year for the first time, and at all Davis events looks forward to seeing everyone come together and enjoy time together. “We are lucky to be part of the Davis Ducks family and take advantage of all of the opportunities to support our school.”

MEET THE BOARD

Ryan Wood, Member

Ryan is mom to Landon (5th grade) and Charlotte (3rd grade) and loves to participate with her family in all of the community activities that are offered at Davis. Ryan feels lucky to be a part of our amazing school: “The Davis community and the strong parent-teacher collaborations have enhanced our children’s educational experience, making Davis Magnet Elementary not just a school, but a second home for students and their families.”
